    This bootcamp is designed for writers who struggle with the structure, pacing, or logic of their story. Together, we analyze narrative patterns — such as three-act structure, character development, and inciting incidents — to help you craft a plot that maintains tension and delivers emotional impact. By the end, you’ll leave with a clear roadmap for your story and the tools you need to write compelling, coherent narratives on a solid foundation.

    character deep dive

    One-dimensional characters can derail even the best story. In this bootcamp, we focus on bringing your characters to life through action, voice, and motivation. We explore what makes a main character compelling, how to develop believable supporting characters, and how to intertwine your protagonist with the plot. This way, you can deepen the emotional impact of your story and create characters that feel alive, grow, and stay with your readers.

    worlds that breathe

    Whether you write romantic fantasy or literary fiction, settings are crucial. In this intensive bootcamp, we focus on creating vibrant, cohesive worlds that generate atmosphere, reveal characters, and drive the plot forward. You’ll learn techniques for compelling descriptions, cultural logic, sensory detail, and how to naturally show your world through action. This way, your setting becomes a living, breathing part of your story.

session i: introduction

I dive deep into the bootcamp’s topic on Zoom, presenting examples and exercises—always supported by my professional insights as an editor and agent. You can ask questions at any time and leave with a clear framework to help you analyze your own writing and apply what you’ve learned effectively.

session ii: feedback

Before the bootcamp, you submit a relevant section of your manuscript (up to 10 pages). Then we meet for a Zoom session to discuss your text in depth, within the context of the bootcamp’s focus. I provide constructive feedback, concrete suggestions, and targeted questions to guide your revision process.

session iii: follow-up

After you’ve revised your text, we meet again on Zoom to reflect on the changes together. We discuss what’s working well and where further development is needed. Then, we explore how you can apply the skills you’ve practiced to the rest of your manuscript.
